Its practical application is based on ISO 9001:2008,the internationally recognised standard for management systems. It's based on regular and independent performance audits, which are reported back to the Board every year.
 
As part of the same process we've carried out a comprehensive review of all our Systems impacts across the company, so that we can measure performance consistently, share best practice, and set appropriate and ambitious overall targets.
